If you’ve come this far, you’re presumably looking for some sort of information regarding my work with music.

I have been involved with music for many years, during which time I have divided my work between the teaching room (over 1,200 pupils), the stage (almost 1,000 gigs) and the studio, but one way or another I have made a self-employed living from music ever since I left school.

The majority of my working time is spent giving guitar tuition in Newport, South Wales. After over 20 years of teaching, I still teach full time, seven days a week, the details of which are contained within this site.

As a lot of the work I do tends to come from word of mouth and personal recommendation, not from advertising, this site is not really meant to be purely an advertisement for work.
The site is in place more to provide additional information for those people who already know me – primarily my pupils.

On this site you will find details of the work I am available to carry out at present, so whether you are looking for information about my work as a teacher, player, or whatever, the links on the left should take you to the desired area of the site.

Naturally you may also be curious about how, where and with whom I have worked in the past. Rather than lots of boring text in CV form, this information has been presented in question/answer form, so that at least you’ll only risk being bored by one particular detail at a time.

Therefore, there is a substantial area covering what have proved over the years to be the questions most frequently asked, mainly by pupils, but also by colleagues and employers.

As you look around the site, you’ll see the usual highlighted words that link to new pages relating to the relevant activity, or band name. Again, this is an effort to ensure that nobody has to trawl through meaningless trivia unless they choose to do so.
